Vasilij Shukhaev. Life and Work (a book presentation)
Ravenscourt Galleries are pleased to present you a new book - "Vasilij Shukhaev. Life and Work, published by "Galart" in 2010.
Artist Vasilij Shukhaev has left an imprint on the history of Russian art of the twentieth century, however, a bibliography of research on his own creativity is surprisingly short. Prior to the publication of this book is, in fact,there was only one exhaustive fundamental work - monograph by IG Myamlin "Vasily Ivanovich Shukhaiev", which was published in 1972. Thus, the new edition successfully completes a pre-existing gap in the study of the artist's work.
